DIY Beauty for Fall

 Diy beauty

It's time to change up your beauty regimen to prepare for the cold winter weather and you can start by pampering yourself with these fun and inexpensive do-it-yourself beauty treatments that are natural, nursing and beautifying.

Apple Face Mask

Apples have great benefits to the body and to the skin. They make a good mask ingredient for those that have combination skin; this is because they help in moisturizing dry skin.

  • 1 apple
  • 1tsp honey
  • 2 tbsp. whole milk

If you have a food processor you can roughly chop your apple and process it into a textured paste. If you don’t have a food processor, peel, and steam the apple, then mash it. Add a teaspoon of honey and two tablespoons of whole milk. You can also use the apple alone for a nice, simple mask. After steaming the apple, make sure it cools enough before you apply it to your face. Spread the mask across your face and leave it for about 15-20 minutes or more. Massage the mask into your face as your rinse it off with cool water.
