Getting Ready for the Holidays
The holidays are here and I'm sure you've already gotten started with preparing for dinners, family visits and gift giving. With all that going on don't forget about the things that really matter this holiday season, and that's family.
I moved to Los Angeles a few years ago to study Acting, hoping to become a Hollywood movie star. I ended up meeting my husband and now we have a beautiful baby boy. Of course, everything didn't go as planned but now that I have my beautiful family I wouldn't trade them for the world. My family has been the biggest blessing in my life and I'm thankful for them everyday of the year. We don't get too caught up in the holidays because we give each other the greatest gift all year around; the gift of love.
You might hear every year that it's not about the gifts or how much you spend, but oftentimes we get caught up in the excitement of the holidays and end up over-extending ourselves. How about, instead of giving the most expensive and flashy gifts this year, give your friends and family something you know they can use and shows that you care.
Give the gift of love and be sure to take care of yourself this holiday season.
